      Iberostar Waves Punta Cana operates the first coral nursery created by Iberostar for climate change research, a hands-on effort visible to guests through guided visits. The hotel holds both the International Ecological Label and the Green Key Eco-Rating, reflecting its commitment to sustainable hospitality. Access to the professional 18-hole golf course at Iberostar Bávaro Golf Club, designed by P.B. Dye, is included in the all-inclusive rate.

      The hotel sits directly on Playa Bávaro beach with a private beach area cleaned daily by tractors that remove seaweed. Two outdoor swimming pools are available, one larger pool with activities and music and a quieter pool, plus a dedicated kids' pool. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided at both the beach and pools, and non-motorized water sports such as snorkeling and Hobie Cats are available at no extra cost.
